Where Winds Meet is testing a vehicle building system in China that lets players bolt together planks, wheels, engines, and other parts to make cars, boats, and aircraft. The live build, published by Everstone Studios in China, combines simple components into functioning machines. A plank plus four wheels and an engine will produce a basic car, and adding a steering component improves handling. Players can save their creations as blueprints and share them with others, and the Flying Chicken helicopter blueprint will be handed out to all players as a free tutorial for the mode.
Everstone Studios is rolling the feature through its Chinese servers first, so global players should expect a delay before the system appears on overseas servers. The staggered rollout gives the developer time to refine physics, balance parts and shore up network issues before a broader release. The update was announced in an official Chinese post and includes details on parts, blueprints, and the Flying Chicken starter craft.

We previously covered the game’s testing and sign-ups for the last beta period in our article about the game’s final beta, which highlighted the new Kaifeng region and the PS5 and PC. The studio’s staggered approach mirrors other online releases where China sees new systems first before a global push, and Everstone has already outlined technical fixes and PS5 Pro support in recent updates as it tunes performance and server routing. Mobile news is moving quickly for the franchise too, a separate post notes the mobile edition is scheduled for 12 December with full crossplay across platforms and pre-load available on iOS and Android now. The game has also reached nine million players across platforms within two weeks of certain regional pushes, according to the announcement.
