Maurice’s Black Market has a new weekly spawn on Kairos, and knowing where Maurice is matters because his machine sells legendary gear. Borderlands 4 from Gearbox has Maurice parked in a fixed location for the week of September 12 to September 19, allowing players to track him down.
Where is Maurice’s Black Market location in Borderlands 4
This week Maurice is in Plungeford, in the north of Coastal Bonescape, Fadefields. The vending machine sits on the balcony of the tallest building in that area, so it’s hard to miss once you’re nearby. The Black Market machine resets every Friday at 12:00 am EDT / 5 am BST. It will appear on your map once you get close enough to it.
The weekly Black Market now offers inventory unique to each player, so two players at the same machine may see different items. Backing out of the store will force a refresh, but it then goes on a 30-minute cooldown, which the weekly activity icon on the map tracks. With Borderlands 4 release date trailers showing the move to a whole open world on Kairos, there is more ground to cover to find Maurice. It’s often worth checking with friends to compare what their Black Market machines are selling.
Players must beat the primary campaign and the introductory Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode quest, Maurice’s Bounty, before Maurice’s machine appears for them. After that, the Black Market becomes a weekly feature across the open world. The machine is almost invisible until approached, then appears on the map once close enough.
