If you’ve been working toward the D.I.S.C. Belt in World of Warcraft, Patch 11.2 is going to change things a bit. Overcharged Delves, the special activity tied to the belt, will disappear. That’s left many players wondering what this means for the belt itself, its upgrades, and the mount reward connected to those Delves.
The Belt Quest Remains, But Now Works With Regular Delves
Good news if you haven’t gotten the belt yet: the quest to obtain the D.I.S.C. Belt is still available in Patch 11.2. Blizzard has modified the quest to function with standard Delves instead of Overcharged ones. So, even if you’re starting fresh or returning after a break, you can still earn the belt without needing to complete Overcharged Delves.
Update: The Belt will still be available to obtain. However "Overcharged" Delves will no longer exist, which also means the Mount reward may be going away as well pic.twitter.com/lGEBfyi4jW

Upgrading the D.I.S.C. Belt Is Still Possible
If you’re partway through upgrading your belt, you won’t be stuck. The weekly quest that grants the upgrade consumable has been updated to work with regular Delves. You can continue to improve your belt as you normally would, just without the Overcharged versions.
The Titan DISC Belt from Patch 11.1.7 will still be obtainable, usable, and upgradable in Patch 11.2 if you haven't maxed it out yet. It’ll now come from regular Delves instead, as Overcharged Delves are being removed. https://t.co/mbny7e7Fz4 pic.twitter.com/2yPlYOzqav

The Belt Effects Are Still Active
You might wonder if the belt’s effects have been disabled with these changes. They have not. You can still switch freely between the belt’s effects and use it until you eventually replace it later in Season 3. That’s a relief for players who rely on those bonuses.
