Activision confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be taken offline on April 17, 2026, ending access to the mobile battle royale less than two years after its global launch.
The publisher announced the date on Feb. 16 and shared the notice via the official Warzone Mobile account on X, adding that the game will remain playable with its current content until servers go offline.
As a final step in the previously communicated service changes to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the servers for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will go offline on April 17, 2026.

What Activision says will happen
Activision clarified that exclusive Warzone Mobile cosmetic items will not move to other Call of Duty titles and that no refunds will be issued for purchased content. Players who linked their Activision accounts will keep any shared progression that already exists across supported Call of Duty platforms until the servers shut down.
Why the mobile version is ending
Warzone Mobile launched worldwide on March 21, 2024, with the goal of bringing an authentic Warzone experience to phones and tablets and offering cross-progression with PC and consoles. The title struggled to maintain traction among mobile-first players and faced persistent technical problems.
Reported issues included heavy battery drain, performance instability across many devices, optimization problems, and complaints about an excessive number of bots in lobbies. Development on the title was effectively paused in May 2025 and the game was removed from app stores that same month.
With Warzone Mobile winding down, Activision said it will concentrate its mobile efforts on Call of Duty: Mobile and on experiences built specifically for mobile players.
