The highly anticipated ranked mode is coming to Call of Duty‘s battle royale, Warzone 2, in Season 3, giving players a chance to compete against others at their skill level, earn rewards, and rise through the ranks. This marks the first time Call of Duty is implementing a ranked mode for its battle royale franchise, and fans are eager to see how it plays out.

Previously, it was confirmed that a new ranked mode is coming with the release of Season 3. ModernWarzone’s tweet has also confirmed that Warzone 2.0 ranked mode is set to arrive at some point during Season 3. The season is set to launch on Wednesday, April 12, and although there’s no official word on whether ranked mode will be available on launch day, players can expect it to be introduced during the season.

The developers have not yet revealed how the Warzone Ranked mode will function. However, it is speculated that the mode will take cues from the ranked system recently implemented in Modern Warfare 2.

Rewards for Warzone 2 ranked play have not been officially confirmed, but players will likely earn rewards such as skins and other cosmetic items for reaching specific levels and skill divisions. This aligns with the reward system for Modern Warfare 2’s ranked mode.

As Season 3 approaches, more information about Warzone 2 ranked play is expected to be released. Fans are eager to dive into a more competitive experience, and introducing ranked mode will surely shake up the game’s dynamics. Keep an eye out for updates as the new season draws closer.
