Valorant is Getting Ranked Matchmaking in the Next 24 Hours

Valorant launched without a ranked mode despite its availability throughout the beta. Riot Games has probably realized that the ranked mode, as it was back in the Closed Beta, wasn’t complete. Accordingly, it needed further tweaks to represent a solid competing field. Well, that day has finally come, as Riot Games has announced the arrival of ranked matchmaking.

The announcement arrived on Valorant’s official Twitter profile. The ranked mode will launch in different zones asynchronously in the next 24 hours. For the exact launch times, please check out the official tweet below:

As previously, Valorant’s skill gap will be divided into eight different ranks. Those are as follows:

  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Immortal
  • Radiant

What’s changed from the beta is the look of some of the icons, including the name of the highest rank, Radiant (previously known as Valorant). Now that the most anticipated competitive game mode in Valorant is about to arrive, it will be interesting to monitor the response by the unique Anti-Cheat, also known as Vanguard.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
