Iron Gate confirms that live servers now run the Call to Arms changes after a Public Test Branch period, while development shifts toward Deep North content and a PlayStation release. The post shares new Deep North furniture, Tokyo Game Show plans, and a Build of the Month spotlight.
After testing on the Public Test Branch, Iron Gate pushed the Call to Arms update into the live game and thanked PTB testers and players for their feedback. The development focus has shifted to the Deep North and the lead-up to 1.0, with armor sets in design, dungeons being fleshed out, and enemy animations in progress. A peek at the Deep North shows chunkier furniture carved from a new local wood, including a decorated chair and table that lean into the biome’s style.
Recently, Iron Gate revealed that Valheim is coming to PlayStation and linked to an announcement post with multiple trailers and details about the release. Attendance at Tokyo Game Show next week will include a Valheim booth where visitors can be among the first to play on a PlayStation console. Valheim will also appear at the SPIEL ESSEN boardgame fair in Germany this October, where MOOD will showcase and sell the Valheim boardgame, backers should see shipments going out and fans can buy the boxed game in person for the first time.
Build of the Month highlights a wintery castle by ViRedy, a tidy feat of design that fits the colder biomes well. Creators who want to be featured can use the hashtag #ValheimBotM on social media and send a DM or email with a link, or post directly in the build-of-the-month forum channel on Discord so no DM is required.
