Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming action RPG set in Harry Potter’s universe, developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. The game got a lot of hype from fans alike, as we all know that the Harry Potter games have a rich history.
Hogwarts Legacy was estimated to launch somewhere in 2021, but due to development problems, its release window has been pushed back to 2022. This was revealed in a Twitter post by the official Twitter account for the game:

First off, Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s, before the events of Fantastic Beasts. You’ll play as a Hogwarts student, allowing you to choose your very own Hogwarts House. From what we can assume, the game looks like it’ll offer fans a lot of customization, and it’s probably the game every single Harry Potter fan dreams of.
If we look at it from a logical point of view, it’s not bad that Hogwarts Legacy is getting delayed. We wouldn’t want a Cyberpunk 2.0, so it’s best to give the developers some time to polish their game further so that there won’t be issues when it gets released.
Hogwarts Legacy will get released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Stay tuned for other news on this game.
