Sony Interactive Entertainment and Ballistic Moon have announced the release date for Until Dawn.
The game, “rebuilt and enhanced for PS5 and PC,” will launch on October 4, with the British studio Ballistic Moon handling the ports while the original game was developed by Supermassive Games.
“Rebuilt and enhanced for PS5 consoles and PC, Until Dawn invites you to relive the nightmare, and immerse yourself in a gripping slasher horror where every decision can make the difference between life and death,” the game’s description reads.
The developer has also introduced new accessibility and usability settings not present in the original game. As they said: “We’ve created a new optional alternative for the Don’t Move mechanic called Stay Calm. Stay Calm is for third-party peripherals that do not feature a gyroscope or for players who prefer a different challenge.”
