Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Brings Back Stretch Goals with Summer Swarm Event

Stretch Goals return August 19 with free rewards including Exotics and Named Items in The Division 2.

Stretch Goals: Summer Swarm is kicking off on August 19 in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, giving players a fresh chance to grab some juicy rewards beyond Tier 100. If you thought you’d seen all the cool loot already, guess again, this event throws in some hard-to-get Exotics and, for the first time, event-limited Named Items like Lexington and Turmoil. No premium pass needed, just pure gameplay grind.

The event adds a bonus page (Page 11) with 10 looping reward tiers that keep cycling for as long as Summer Swarm is active. Progression only comes from playing, with no option to buy levels past Tier 100. XP sources are your usual suspects: Manhunt Scouts, Seasonal Journey, Priority Objectives, Weekly Projects, Missions, and Living World activities. Just a heads up, the 2X Season XP bonus stops at Tier 100, so Stretch Goals follow normal XP rates.

Wondering what’s up for grabs? Each Summer Swarm Cache guarantees seasonal items and crafting materials, plus some chance-based drops. Here’s the breakdown:

REWARDS

Vanity Items – High chance per cache until supply runs out.

  • Wasp Warrior Outfit – 5 pieces
  • Arm Patches – 4 pieces
  • Weapon Skins – 2 pieces
  • Wasp Warrior Trinket Backpack Trophy

Seasonal and Special Exotics – Moderate drop chance with each cache.

  • Pakhan LMG
  • Nimble Holster
  • Nemesis MMR
  • Liberty Pistol
  • Chatterbox SMG* (slightly increased drop chance during event)
  • Dodge City Gunslinger’s Holster
  • Ridgeway’s Pride Chest Piece

Named Items – Moderate drop chance with each cache.

  • Lexington AR* (slightly increased drop chance during event)
  • Turmoil Kneepads
  • Caretaker AR
  • Shield Splinterer AR
  • Hunter-Killer Chest Piece
  • Huntsman AR
  • First Sight AR
  • Sleigher SMG
  • Slingshot SMG
  • Oh Carol MMR
  • Handbasket MMR
  • The Harvest Pistol
  • Chill Out Mask
  • Festive Delivery Backpack
  • Snow Machine Kneepads

Exclusive Exotics – Rare drop chance with each cache.

  • Regulus Pistol
  • Eagle Bearer AR
  • Ravenous Rifle
  • Bighorn AR
  • Ouroboros SMG
  • Provocator Chest Piece
  • Birdie’s Quick Fix Backpack

All loot from the full pool is fair game, so you can zero in on your favorites. If you miss grabbing any rewards before the event wraps up, they’ll be handed out automatically the next time you log in. Kinda cool, right? It means you won’t lose out just because life got in the way.

Stay sharp, agents. Time to grind those tiers and snag some sick gear!
