Welcome to the fourth week of the Versus Spotlight events in Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Each week, players are encouraged to delve deeper into the lore and gameplay of one of the Ubersreik 5 heroes alongside a Pactsworn Special. This week, we shine our light on the ever-enthusiastic Victor Saltzpyre, paired with the cunning Packmaster!
Previous Spotlight’s Rewards
An update on reward distribution:
In response to community feedback, we’ve revamped how rewards are distributed during these spotlights. Now, all rewards will be earned upon completion of a communal kill counter. This means currency, portrait frames, Hero poses, and even character skins will be unlocked as a group effort.
This change is retroactive! So, if you participated in previous weeks, take note that your rewards have been adjusted accordingly. You might notice that applying certain Hero Poses may require a few restarts. Apologies for any inconvenience there!
This Week’s Rewards
Each week brings unique rewards unlocked through community participation via the Kill-Counter. There’s much to earn from currency to exclusive skins and weapon poses! The spotlight for Saltzpyre and Packmaster runs from December 5 – December 8. All rewards will be distributed in the following week.
Kill-Counter
Join forces with fellow players to eliminate Heroes in Versus mode to complete this week’s Kill-counter. A successful completion unlocks:
- An exclusive skin for the Packmaster!
- 120 shillings.
- 100 Helmgart Sellsword Marks.
- A brand new Portrait frame.
- A Hero Pose for Saltzpyre!
Since you’ve all been hitting those targets impressively well so far, we’ve increased this week’s challenge from 40K Hero kills up to an ambitious total of 250K! It’s time to rally your friends, after all, that’s quite a few Heroes waiting for their fate.
For Victor Saltzpyre, life has always revolved around battling heresy and destruction in Reikland, a stage where he performs with bravado despite his companions’ questionable backgrounds. His character adds depth not just as a hero but also as someone who understands that sometimes good can emerge from troubled origins.
