There won’t be Pay-to-win model in Apex Legends

The freshest free-to-play Battle Royale game, Apex Legends is now available. Apex Legends is a product made for the consumers, noticing their reactions as a bouncing point to what’s about to come next. As such, the developers noted that there won’t be any microtransactions that will embrace cheesy gameplay.

Having explosive gameplay, Apex Legends is set to create a new boundary between free-to-play and quality content. The new Battle Royale shooter has already claimed that it will avoid any pay to win model, despite the emphasize on purchasable cosmetics, which gives no gameplay benefit at all.

Apex Legends developers tend to defend the players and put them in the first place, considering them as a factor on the coming content.

Despite the two Legends (unavailable in the free package), but available behind a paywall, everything else could be earned by simply playing the game. It has its own in-game currency and it rewards the players after each spectacular performance.

In terms of monetization, there is always something when it comes to EA as its records with some other titles speak the complete opposite.

Therefore, the monetization will probably go as follows:

  • Availability to directly purchase a skin or else.
  • Upcoming Battle Pass to be determined
  • Purchasing new Legends as they release, there will more to come than just the starting 8.

Which fairly said, it is quite positive talking about EA. Apex Legends will be here for the days to come. We’ll have more to talk about. Being available on PS4, Xbox One and PC it is the best standpoint this early.
