A recent leak has surfaced, suggesting possible timing for the upcoming GTA 6 trailer and its release date. Rockstar Games dropped an initial teaser at the end of 2023, and fans are eager to unlock more details about this highly expected title.
This 90-second trailer introduced players to characters Jason and Lucia and glimpses of a current-day Vice City and other regions within Leonida. While it confirmed the launch year of 2025, no specific month or holiday was mentioned, just that we can expect it sometime in that year.
Since then, Rockstar has kept quiet on any further updates, leaving much of the speculation to Take-Two Interactive, which has expressed confidence that we’ll see GTA 6 hit shelves before year-end. However, this radio silence only intensifies fans’ curiosity about when they’ll get their hands on the game.
The Latest Leak Suggests Potential Dates
A notable leaker on X (formerly Twitter), known as Detective Seeds, has suggested a potential release window. On April 10, he cryptically tweeted: “Remember remember the middle of November.” In addition to this claim regarding timing, he hinted at an announcement for Trailer 2 coming at “the end of May.” Check out his tweet below:

While Detective Seeds isn’t exactly a household name among leakers, there’s logic behind his predictions. Take-Two previously noted they opt for a shorter marketing period than typical for such massive titles. They also don’t plan to clash their marketing with Mafia: The Old Country, which raises hopes that November could be our month to circle on calendars.
The earlier releases in the GTA series have generally fallen between September and December, so it would make sense if they stuck to familiar timelines. Fans are hoping that this time around, there won’t be any unexpected delays like we’ve seen in past announcements.
