The Witcher: Monster Slayer gets a Launch Trailer

The Witcher: Monster Slayer has launched on iOS and Android Devices. As a celebration, the game has received a launch trailer to celebrate its release. The Witcher: Monster Slayer might be as popular as Pokemon GO, considering its use of augmented reality, which simply said, puts players against monsters in the real world.

Thanks to the AR technology, there will be different monsters scattered across the globe, each one of them more or less powerful than others. The game is developed by Spokko, which is a part of the CD Projekt Red family. Players are put in The Witcher’s boots and they progress their character as they slay monsters ahead.

What’s extremely exciting is that some of the monsters will be present at a certain time of the day, which means players will need to find time in order to deal with them. This manner correlates with The Witcher’s lore, which imbues a strong connection between the fans of the book, game, and movie.

According to the official press release:

The game challenges players to take on the role of a freshly trained witcher adept and step out into a dark fantasy realm using only their mobile phone or tablet. Using advanced AR features, as well as their location and the time of day, players will be able to hunt down over 100 witcher-world monsters both old and new.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is available on both iOS and Android supported devices.
