The War of the Worlds: Siberia has just dropped a stunning new gameplay trailer that’s got everyone buzzing. Revealed during the IGN Fan Fest 2025, this latest footage plunges players into a world shaped by H.G. Wells’ iconic 1897 sci-fi novel, offering a tantalizing glimpse into what awaits them.

This isn’t your typical alien invasion story. Set against the backdrop of a Russian Empire under extraterrestrial rule, players will follow an unnamed protagonist navigating through political turmoil and sci-fi dread. It’s like watching history unfold through a lens tinted by suspense and intrigue. Not your average Tuesday.

The newly released in-engine trailer showcases this captivating dichotomy, shedding light on the dangerous situation faced by our hero and his allies as they attempt to survive their alien overlords while seeking out potential alliances. Now, who doesn’t love some good old-fashioned bargaining with space invaders?

Regarding gameplay, expect an action-adventure experience viewed from a third-person perspective that promises an intricate storyline with memorable characters inspired by 19th-century Russia. Oh, and did I mention the arsenal? From cap-lock rifles to Maxim machine guns, you’ll have plenty at your disposal, and let’s not forget about stealth elements and spatial puzzles to keep things spicy.

The developers expressed their excitement about player interest:

“Our gameplay reveal trailer has garnered over 360,000 views across YouTube; the team is really happy to see the interest in Siberia and share more in this cinematic cut.”

No release date has been announced yet for The War of the Worlds: Siberia, but rest assured, we’ll keep you updated as more information surfaces.
