Over on X (Twitter), Croteam posted a screenshot from The Talos Principle 2, accompanied by the cryptic message: “Summer is here, and there’s big news on the horizon.” Now, we all know what that means in game dev lingo, and new content could be on its way. While they haven’t explicitly said, “Hey, here’s some DLC,” the tease is enough to get us going.
Remember how the original Talos Principle was blessed with post-launch DLC? It’s not a stretch to think Croteam might follow the same playbook here. The studio has a history of dropping quality expansions, and it looks like they might be gearing up to expand the universe of The Talos Principle 2.
We’re in the thick of gaming announcement season, and with Summer Game Fest kicking off on June 7, followed by Devolver Digital’s Devolver Direct, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
