The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be a PS5 console exclusive at launch, with an early release on 16th March and a grand launch that includes mobile on 23rd March. The game’s new launch trailer emphasises a multiverse-driven narrative and shows well known characters from the franchise appearing together to confront a continent-wide catastrophe in Britannia. The trailer also highlights cross-world encounters and large-scale battle set pieces that frame the title as an animation-style open world RPG where players can team up to explore Britannia and take on powerful bosses.
“The trailer centres on the game’s multiverse-driven narrative. As a massive crisis unfolds across the continent of Britannia, Meliodas, Tristan, Diane, and other iconic protagonists from different worlds gather in one place to confront the looming threat. New footage also highlights the convergence of characters from multiple dimensions, underscoring the expanded scale and storytelling of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.
In addition, the trailer visually brings the series’ multiverse concept to life, showcasing dramatic cross-world encounters and large-scale battle sequences. Scenes of heroes fighting side by side symbolically reflect the game’s animation open world RPG experience, where players can team up to explore Britannia and challenge formidable bosses together.”
If Arknights: Endfield already has players juggling gacha dailies, this trailer will only make that list longer. The established cast and franchise setting give this gacha a clear leg up compared with brand-new original gacha titles, and early hands-on notes say the production values are very high.
