Here’s some news that Star Wars fans will enjoy: It’s confirmed that The Mandalorian Season 3 will begin filming by the end of this year! According to an article from Variety, The Mandalorian executive producer and showrunner Jon Favreau revealed that season 3 would start filming “before the end of this year.”
To say that The Mandalorian’s first season was successful is a significant understatement. It got so much attention and popularity, with many fans asking Disney to make a movie out of it. The Mandalorian is set in the Star Wars universe, and it’s about a lone gunfighter which makes his way through the galaxy’s outer reaches, far from the New Republic’s authority. Even if you’ve never seen the show, you’ve stumbled upon “Baby Yoda” memes on social media, which were a big hit earlier this year.
It took the first season a few more months to release outside of the U.S for Disney+, but now, fans are relieved that Season 2 will come out on October 30th for every country that Disney+ supports.
