According to a Slovakian retailer, despite the fact that the game is PS4 exclusive, has managed to snitch its potential release date. However, take this with a grain of salt, because the statement is most likely missing a piece of evidence to back it up.
The Slovenian retailer has also been a part of another leak regarding Cyberpunk 2077. It was the same occurrence, as it is a word about its official release date. Back then, it stated that Cyberpunk 2077 will release on November 28. That would make the date of release of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us 2 identically the same, despite its month difference. Which is possibly another hitch with distorted info, rather conducting a rumor than anything else.
The retailer goes by the name ProGamingShop and has had The Last of Us 2 listed with a release date slated for September 28, 2019. The release date could be primitively found as a period in which a game of this caliber will release.
Again, this may be truthful, but we believe it’s just a mistake and an unusual placeholder. Even if The Last of Us 2 finished a lot of its motion capture, which leads to completed animations, it is probably still far away from its designated release date.
