Banners are unfurling, and the air is thick with anticipation. That’s right, folks, The International 2025 is returning to Germany, the birthplace of Dota’s grandest stage. After fourteen years since its inaugural event, it’s hard not to feel a sense of nostalgia mixed with excitement about what’s to come!

From September 11 to 14, Hamburg’s Barclays Arena will host sixteen teams battling it out for glory and a hefty prize pool. It’s like watching gladiators prepare for battle, except these warriors wield spells instead of swords, and their arenas are digital landscapes rather than coliseums. The mix of open qualifiers, regional qualifiers, and direct invitations promises an exciting roster of talent ready to clash on this storied ground.

The January calendar is already bursting at the seams with professional matches as teams around the globe scramble for those coveted spots. For Dota fans eager to get ahead of the game, tuning into pro matches now could provide valuable insights into which teams might rise and capture that elusive Aegis.

Ticketing details and scheduling information are still on the horizon, but you can bet that once they drop, they’ll be hotter than a freshly picked tomato in August! So keep your eyes peeled for updates! In the meantime, head over here to catch some live pro games and start forming opinions on who might take home the crown.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
