Tom Henderson shared the latest information regarding Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 during an episode of Insider Gaming Weekly: A Video Game Podcast, revealing that the following downloadable content (DLC), titled Battle for Brooklyn, is slated to launch in late May.
According to Henderson, “From what I’ve heard, it’s not a big DLC. It’s probably going to be the smallest one in the franchise and they’re planning to sell that one for $15 as well.” This bit of information might surprise, considering expansions often bring substantial content; however, fans can expect a more modest addition this time around.
Initially set for release in 2024, the Battle for Brooklyn expansion faced delays into early 2025. In January 2025, it was pushed outside of Year 6 plans altogether. With Year 7 approaching quickly, anticipation builds surrounding this new story-driven adventure that will likely coincide with the start of that year.
Ubisoft plans to unveil more details about The Division 2‘s upcoming DLC on April 23rd. Insider Gaming will provide comprehensive coverage on all developments from this exciting reveal.
Besides ongoing support for The Division 2, Ubisoft has confirmed that development on The Division 3 is underway. However, no specifics have emerged regarding when players may see this next chapter unfold amidst current company uncertainties.
