The Ancient Kingdom of Babylon will make its way to Civilization 6 this November

With the Gaul and Byzantium pack that was recently released, Firaxis and 2K Games have announced the newest Civ, coming to Civilization 6 on November 19th. That Civ will be the Mesopotamian Kingdom of Babylon. We currently have a city-state in Civ 6 representing Babylon, but now players will finally be able to make their kingdom. There aren’t any details on the civilization’s ruler, but the video by 2K Games revealed that this Civ would give a significant boost to Science.

They also gave us more details on Civ’s newest game mode for this patch, introducing players to the Heroes & Legends way, which will let you recruit a hero or legend from mythology to your empire. Some notable icons were revealed, including King Arthur, Hercules, Beowulf, and the Polynesian demi-god Maui. All of these legends will have their perks and abilities, making each one unique. You’ll need to discover the heroes first to recruit them, and only one Civ can have that hero.

Suppose you’re interested in the past DLCs. In that case, you can take a look at the New Frontier Pass announcement, which includes Gran Colombia, the Maya, Ethiopia, Byzantium, and Gaul, and now it’s going to add Babylon to its collection. Two more DLCs are coming in January 2021 and March 2021, with a free update slated for December.
