Bandai Namco announced this milestone faster than you can say “Hadouken!” Our favorite femme fatale, Anna Williams, is returning as a downloadable content (DLC) character. The Scarlet Lightning herself will be available on March 31 for Character Year 2 Pass owners on April 3 for all players.
The rapid rise in sales isn’t surprising when considering how well Tekken 8 has been received since its launch on January 26, 2024. Just back in February of this year, reports indicated that the game had already sold two million copies. It seems like audiences are loving every second of it! For context, Tekken 7, which many regard as a classic in its own right, reached over twelve million copies sold. So yes, we’re witnessing something special here.
