Team Liquid is the second Grand Finalist at The International 9

Team Liquid is ready to face the most robust looking team at this year’s TI. TI 9 has been full of surprises. After a pour group performance, Team Liquid has somehow managed to wiggle its way through the lower bracket, without even losing a single round in all of the BO3 series.

PSG.LGD, previously defeated team by OG in the Upper Bracket Finals has managed to put a stop to their winning streak. After the win of the first match, everyone believed the whole situation would turn into a Dejavu, a glimpse of last year TI.

But, Team Liquid, throughout a strong and stimulate gameplay, has managed to defy losing. They’ve managed to achieve wins in the next two matches, for a final result of 2-1 in favor of Liquid. While it may not be a lot, this is just another lesson that Dota 2 games could go each way, no matter of the advantageous performance.

Below you can find the meltdown and final moments of the match between Team Liquid and PSG.LGD.

What is next? Well, the grand finals will be a Bo5 (Best of Five) series, in which the two giants, Team OG, and Team Liquid, will measure their strength and knowledge. We hope for an exciting series similar to last year’s TI, in which Game 5 will be the decider of the champion.

Both of these two teams had the opportunity to become TI champions. Team Liquid was the Champion of TI 7, while Team OG of TI 8, making it a defending Champion at TI 9.
