Steam has set a new record for Concurrent Users Online. Valve has been doing an exceptional job with their Digital Reseller platform, Steam. Seemingly, PUBG as the main reason for all of them, but we cannot avoid the seasonal discount that’s ongoing at this moment. Users are probably interested in buying video games at a cheaper price… of course. Therefore, yesterday, steam has managed to gather 17,686,886 Steam users online.
However, watching the steam charts in details, we’ve been able to notice that almost every game notices a boost in concurrent users, especially Rainbow Six Siege. So, by offering new deals and offers, Valve is making themselves a big favor and therefore we truly think that this kind of events are needed, and much appreciated.
As we’ve said before, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is getting closer to its 3 mil. mark, while Rainbow Six Siege notices quite a bit of an income of players, eventually. Warframe as the most successful free game is still holding the top 10, while our favorite and crazy soccer game Rocket League is just behind it. GTA V, ARK and Garry’s mod are holding the last 3 spots.
Valve will probably hit 18 million concurrent users quite soon because of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds first and foremost. The game is about to leave the Early Access and completely release, even though it suffers from net code issues. Servers are indeed quite laggy and Bluehole should definitely address that at first before making any further moves. At last, quality over quantity is what makes quantity become greater.
