The 2025 Steam Autumn Sale is live now, about two months ahead of the usual schedule, and will run through October 6 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BT on Steam.

Valve posted the announcement on its official Steam account on Bluesky, saying, “For the first time ever… the Steam Autumn Sale arrives during the early days of Autumn, in the Northern Hemisphere, at least. As always, we’ve got discounts, stickers, Points Shop items, and new art for your perusal – get it all done before the event ends on October 6th!” The timing follows the store’s recent visual update, though the main sale tabs look familiar.

Want a quick shopping list? Here are some front-page deals spotted during a quick sweep of the store:

  • Assassin’s Creed Shadows – $41.99 at 40% off
  • Cyberpunk 2077 – $20.99 at 65% off, Phantom Liberty DLC $20.99 at 30% off
  • Doom: The Dark Ages – $46.89 at 33% off, and Doom Eternal is listed at $3.99
  • Oblivion Remastered – $39.99 at 20% off
  • Monster Hunter Wilds – $48.99 at 30% off
  • Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut – $40.19 at 33% off
  • Stellar Blade – $47.99 at 20% off
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – $29.99 at 50% off
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider – $2.99 at 90% off

The sale is the first large event since Valve tweaked the Steam storefront visuals, and promotional picks still lean toward big RPGs and heavily discounted AAA releases. Who does not love a surprise sale? This one will affect anyone watching for fall bargains, from shoppers hunting for deep discounts to developers seeking placement in the front-page promos.

Please share thoughts in the comments and follow us on both socials, X and Bluesky.
