Bethesda’s upcoming interstellar RPG title, Starfield, might be onto something big. Usually, the movie and gaming industry go head to head as we see more and more actors leaning towards the gaming industry. Not only voiceovers but sometimes they’re implemented in the game with their full physique, taking the role of some of the main characters—for example, Cyberpunk 2077 and Keanu Reeves, which took place as Johnny Silverhand.
With Starfield, it’s a word about a different Hollywood talent, and that is Tom Cruise. A recent rumor claims that he will be included in the game. It will suit him just fine, considering that he is amongst the people who will visit the space station to record a movie in a more realistic environment, making it the first movie recorded in space.
The rumor comes from the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, which thread claims his arrival to Starfield. The rumor was started by one of the self-proclaimed and successful Starfield insiders. But is this holding any waters? In 2018, Bethesda tagged TomCruise, asking him if he wants to get a head start on their next thing. Allegedly, if the rumors posted today turn out true, then the question was indeed relating to Starfield, Bethesda’s upcoming RPG video game.
Hey @TomCruise, we’re huge fans. Loved your take on Oblivion and now Fallout. Want to get a head start on our next thing? #Callme.

While we know the game’s name, everything else remains in shambles, as Bethesda hasn’t given us bigger clue about the upcoming Starfield game, except that we know it’s an interstellar RPG. While Tom Cruise’s role might still be unknown, we assume that he would be a strong piece of the narrative, similar to what Johnny Silverhand is for Cyberpunk 2077.
