Starfield is adding Colony War figures, and a few are leaving the screen for real
Bethesda said the Free Lanes update will add 27 collectible figures in-game on April 7, with three real-world figures also available for pre-order now.

Starfield is adding a new collectible hunt with the Free Lanes update, and Bethesda said players will be able to start tracking down Colony War Action Figures when the patch arrives on April 7.
The update adds 27 in-game figures in total, with sealed and unsealed versions bringing the collectible count to 54. Bethesda said the lineup includes names and enemies tied to the Colony War, such as Commander Sarah Morgan, Captain Daniel Blake, Jasper Kryx, the UC Marine, Terrormorph, and Major Paxton Hull.
Each figure comes with a bonus that applies the first time you pick it up. Some of the effects Bethesda listed include higher affinity with Sarah Morgan, a 5% boost to laser weapon damage, a 5% chance to make enemies flee, 10% extra damage against UC and Freestar enemies, and 10% resistance to damage from robots. The bonus only applies once per figure type, so finding another sealed or unsealed copy will not grant it again.
The collection also ties into outpost display options. Bethesda said players will be able to use new display cases, including the United Colonies Rack, Freestar Collective Rack, Deep Space Dangers Rack, and Full Collection Rack for sealed figures, while the Playset is meant for unsealed ones. Filling those displays also grants a separate character bonus.
