STALCRAFT: X adds two marine artefacts – Jelly and Noose – available through April 1, 2026

Developer notes from the Zone describe Artefact Jelly as a self-replenishing gelatinous mass whose droplets can't be preserved, and Artefact Noose as a closed-loop water stream you can hold only while it doesn't slip away.

Scientists in the Zone have cataloged two new marine artefacts arriving in STALCRAFT: X: Artefact Jelly and Artefact Noose. The studio published initial study notes describing their properties and how they behave in the field.

What researchers found

  • Artefact Jelly – appears as a gelatinous mass that continuously sheds tiny “droplets” which seem to compose its material. Despite that shedding, the artefact’s overall volume does not decrease, and attempts to capture or preserve even a single droplet have failed so far.
  • Artefact Noose – manifests as a stream of water running in a closed cycle. Although it’s liquid, it can be held in a player’s hands for a short time, provided the stream is kept from slipping free; if it slips, the flow simply runs out of grasp.

These two artefacts will continue to spawn in the Zone for a couple more weeks, through April 1, 2026. Players are encouraged to watch storm windows and event areas where marine-type items tend to appear.
