Sony is hosting a new PlayStation 5 event soon. The company has revealed that on Wednesday, September 16th, 2020, it will host a new PS5 event that is eligible to discover the next-gen console’s exact launch date and price. The PlayStation 5 is more likely going to surprise everyone with other game reveals as well.
Sony is advertising and backing up the event with the following line:

That “beyond” is more than an indication of possible launch date reveal, including pricing. It is undoubtedly vital to know that other games are coming at launch too.

It would be a perfect answer to Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and a common gateway leading to the pricing of both the disc and digital PlayStation 5 editions. Microsoft’s Xbox Series S might endanger Sony’s profitability of the next-gen console, considering its extra-low price of $299.
Sony’s PlayStation 5 event will begin on Wednesday at 4 PM ET or 1 PM PT.
