A new demo for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, and any progress made in the trial will transfer into the full release. Players who try out single-player modes now will keep unlocked vehicles and customisation when the game launches on 25 September.
Demo runs on PS5 only, and the full game will also release on PS4. The focus for this trial is local single-player content rather than online play.
- Four playable characters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy)
- Eight courses (three main tracks and five CrossWorlds)
- 12 vehicles
- 20 Gadgets
- Grand Prix, Time Trial, and Garage (vehicle customisation) modes
Leaderboard times from Time Trial will not move across to the full game, while everything else shown above will carry over. The full release is set for 25 September, and anyone planning to play at launch may find the valuable demo for early customization and vehicle unlocking.
