With the new season just around the corner, Titan Forge Games have released a series of trailers, all regarding Season 8. We got a cinematic celebrating the newest god’s addition to the Battleground of the Gods, and it’s going to be the evil Mesopotamian Dragon-Goddess, Tiamat.
After a series of leaks and rumors, Tiamat was confirmed by Titan Forge not too long ago, and now we finally got to see her in action. Looking fierce as ever, Tiamat will take on an evil tyrant dragon’s role because the Ancient Mesopotamians truly feared this powerful deity.
Another deity was also revealed in the cinematic, and it’s the popular Sumerian hero Gilgamesh, from the highly popular ancient Epic of Gilgamesh. As the mighty hero of Uruk, in the cinematic, it looked as if he was battling Tiamat to stop her tyranny from plaguing the world.
Along with Tiamat, there will be a new Conquest 5v5 Map that will replace the older one, with more types of Jungle buffs and a heavy visual overhaul. Season 8 will arrive on January 26th, whereas Tiamat is expected to release in February, and Gilgamesh will most likely come out somewhere in April.
