Since March 10, Escape From Tarkov Banned 3,500 Cheaters

The popular hardcore first-person shooter, Escape From Tarkov, has been plagued with cheaters in recent times. However, its developer, Battlestate Games, is fighting back by partnering with BattlEye anti-cheat software to detect and ban cheaters from the game. The company’s recent efforts have resulted in numerous ban waves, and today, they announced that an additional 3,500 cheaters had been banned from the game.

Even though players have been laughing at BattlEye, they have been doing a great job recently. The anti-cheat software is used in many popular games to detect and prevent cheating. With its support, the developer has been able to crack down on cheaters more effectively, ensuring a fair gaming experience for all players.

To further discourage cheating behavior, Battlestate Games has gone a step further by creating a public “wall of shame.” This wall consists of a Google spreadsheet that lists the names of the banned cheaters, serving as a warning to others who may be tempted to cheat.

Battlestate Games shared the news of the recent ban wave in an official announcement on Twitter:

“Since March 10 with the support of BattlEye anti-cheat more than 3500 cheaters have been banned in Escape From Tarkov.”

The developer’s dedication to addressing cheating issues within the game is clear. Battlestate Games is committed to providing a fair gaming experience for its players, and these recent ban waves demonstrate their determination to stamp out cheating. With continuous updates and support from BattlEye, the developer is expected to maintain its vigilance against cheaters and continue to improve the gameplay experience for legitimate players.
