Today, during the Livestream dedicated to Yakuza’s 15th anniversary hosted by SEGA, it was revealed that a new Yakuza game has already started development. This was announced by the series’ creator and Sega chief creative officer Toshihiro Nagoshi, during his final speech.
During the stream, it was also confirmed that Yakuza: Like a Dragon would come out for the PS5 on March 2nd, both in Japan and in the West. It’s also great to see that SEGA’s ambitious work ethic, even during this pandemic. Yakuza: Like a Dragon got released to the West about a month ago, and the developers have already gotten their hands on a new game, which is very impressive.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is currently available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with the PS5 version arriving this March. It’ll feature different kinds of graphical and performance improvements, as well as the option to transfer your progress from your PS4 playthrough.
