Sea of Thieves is Rare’s action-adventure multiplayer pirate game currently available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. As one of the Xbox’s first-party games got major improvements and benefits on the Xbox Series X, giving it the possibility to run at 4K 60FPS.
Now, with its Season One update going live, Xbox has added another option, allowing you to run the game at 1080p 60FPS, revealed on the update notes. However, as not all TV screens can support HDR and 120hz simultaneously, you’ll get a warning message asking you to turn off HDR just if things don’t go wrong for your screen.
It’s great that Xbox Sea of Thieves players can finally experience the game’s fluid and beautiful ocean animations at 120FPS, along with its vast and colorful islands. The Sea of Thieves Season One update was recently released, and tons of new content, especially cosmetics including a Battle Pass, is available for fans!
