Nvidia’s GPU production has not been sufficient for various reasons such as global shortages and more, not to mention the crypto junkies who eagerly anticipate every release causing the gaming industry to shatter, leaving gamers without a proper chance of getting the new GPUs in their hands. For this particular reason, Nvidia might be thinking of re-releasing one of the previous-gen GPUs, according to a recent rumor.
As stated by Gamerant, “while the deficit rages on, Nvidia could be about to reintroduce an older graphics card, but one that will be souped up for more modern gaming. According to the rumor, the company could be bringing back the RTX 2060, which was originally launched in January 2019.”
While pricing might become an issue and the task complex, it’s still a better choice to satisfy the gaming industry better. If the card receives a significant improvement and complies with the hash rate nerfs introduced earlier this year, then crypto-miners might get away from this product and allow the gamers to snatch something to their benefit finally.
If a new RTX 2060 is coming out, then it will be given more memory. If the rumor is true, the GPU is supposed to operate with 12GB of GDDR6, unlike its previous 6GB of RAM. But, everyone should take this with a grain of salt, as nothing has been confirmed by Nvidia yet.
