The recent addition by games on Xbox Game Pass coming from EA Play has proven quite worthy. It wouldn’t be strange for EA to add more upcoming titles on day one. Battlefield 6, the upcoming first-person shooter that promises modern-era setting and tons of new mechanics, will most likely be a part of Xbox Game Pass, leaks claim.
Over on Neogaf, a user named “The Gamerlorian” posted that Battlefield 6 full edition is coming to Xbox Game Pass at Launch. This is followed just after a rumor claiming the same, which makes its statement integrity quite strong. If this is true, then the number of players using Xbox Game Pass is undoubtedly high, and it sweetens out for EA by far.
This would be a win for Xbox Game Pass, although Microsoft came out with a statement that Xbox Game Pass is currently not generating any significant revenue. Hence it’s mostly in loss with all the recent additions. But, investing in this and being already number one among these services could sustain a better future for Xbox Game Pass itself.
In other news, the upcoming BF 6 was also leaked to be named only Battlefield. The game will take place around 10 years from now, as confirmed by a known leaker, Tom Henderson. Being set in a modern era would allow more gadgets to occur, such as drones or some new-gen military robots.
