Xbox Free Play Days runs this weekend from Thursday, March 26 through Sunday, March 29, putting two very different titles on short-term trial: Train Sim World 6: Thomas & Friends Edition for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members, and Rubber Bandits available to all Xbox accounts.
How to join the trials
To play, sign into your Microsoft account and install the games from their store pages on Xbox.com. On console, open the Xbox Store, select the Subscriptions tab and look for the Free Play Days collection on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
What’s included
Rubber Bandits is a slapstick multiplayer brawler optimized for Xbox Series X|S with Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere support. Matches are short and chaotic, centered on grab-and-swing physics, theft-based objectives, and improvised melee. The Free Play Days window for Rubber Bandits runs March 26–29 and is open to every Xbox account.
Train Sim World 6: Thomas & Friends Edition is on the Free Play Days for Game Pass list. This edition bundles the West Somerset Railway add-on and the 80th Anniversary Expansion, and it includes the Train Sim World 6: Free Starter Pack. The store listing shows pricing with $19.99 alongside $39.99, reflecting the edition’s promotional price at the time of the announcement.
Train Sim World 6 lets players tackle story-based scenarios starring characters from Thomas & Friends, such as Thomas, Annie, Clarabel, and Diesel, and it also offers the Training Center for newcomers to learn basic operations.
