Red dead redemption

Rockstar Games has announced today that its Red Dead Redemption will be heading to PC. The open world game will be getting its zombie-themed expansion named Undead Nightmare and will come to PC on October 29, 2024. This all will be made available thanks to a collaboration with Double Eleven, which will have the honor to introduce new and enhanced visuals with up to 4K resolution and 144hz on compatible hardware.

In collaboration with Double Eleven, this new version adds PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.

There’s also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.

Red Dead Redemption was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 18, 2010. Since then, we have heard thousands of rumors about its arrival to the PC platform, but never really had the chance to get that spark, at least not until today. The game will be available on the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

You can find the announcement trailer below:

So far, Red Dead Redemption has shipped over 91 million copies worldwide which is something that requires strong salute. Aside from that, its brother Red Dead Redemption 2 has reached to 65 million copies sold, and it’s getting closer with each day.
