Rocket League Season 22 arrives March 11, 2026, with an update that will ripple into the esport calendar before the Paris Major. The new season coincides with Split 2 of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2026 season. Regional RLCS tournaments start later in March after Gentle Mates won the Boston Major the week prior to this update.
Season 22 also introduces the game’s first-ever Bracket Rivals, an in-game event tied to the Paris Major. Between March 20 and March 26, players can claim free creator titles for community-favorite creator duos. The two influencer teams whose titles collect the most goals worn by players will be selected to play a content-creator showmatch on stage in Paris in May.
The update adds several visible gameplay touches. Players will be able to see their matchmaking rating (MMR) for the first time. Boost pad recharge progress will be shown, and an indicator will reveal when a flip reset is off cooldown. Epic Games shared a brief Season 22 teaser on Rocket League’s official channel on March 6, 2026; see the announcement on Twitter.
