Resident Evil Village will get new and free accessibility improvements slated for arrival on October 28, 2022. As per Capcom‘s official announcement, these accessibility options relay to subtitle alterations such as size and color, display of the speaker name in story mode, closed captions, and, more importantly, a permanent reticle.
The announcement arrived through Resident Evil’s official Twitter profile, in which players cheer the move as it benefits Capcom nothing but help the community greatly. These accessibility options will roll and become available for everyone, regardless of the game edition players own.
The most significant and essential addition to this update is the permanent weapon reticle, allowing players to react much faster in given scenarios. As stated, the update will launch with the Winters’ Expansion and the Gold Edition of RE Village.
A free accessibility update for all Resident Evil Village users is coming alongside the Winters' Expansion and Gold Edition in October, adding:
