The recently released Resident Evil 4 Remake continues to make waves in the Japanese gaming market as it reigns over the weekly retail charts for the second consecutive week. The game’s PS5 and PS4 versions sold over 35,000 units, as reported by Famitsu.
Although Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe has reclaimed the top spot with over 21,000 units sold, the Resident Evil 4 Remake has firmly established itself in the second and third positions. The highly anticipated remake has undoubtedly captured the hearts of survival horror enthusiasts, with its PS5 and PS4 versions generating impressive sales.
Debuting at number four, Konami’s Winning Post 10 sold over 12,000 units on the Nintendo Switch, while the PS5 version clinched the 9th spot with more than 7,000 units sold. The rest of the top 10 charts was occupied by popular titles such as Splatoon 3, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
