It looks like The First Descendant is making good on a little hiccup in the shop. Remember when you bought a package but didn’t get the discount? Well, grab your favorite snack and settle in because we’ve got some important news about refunds that might brighten your day.

The developers recently announced that they’re issuing refunds for players who purchased specific Growth/Support Packages at full price without receiving the expected discounts between Hotfix 1.2.2 and Hotfix 1.2.3. If you’re one of those affected, here’s what you need to know.

Eligible Descendants for Refund:
If you bought any of these packages without a discount:

  • Monthly Crystallization Catalyst Package
  • Monthly Energy Activator Package
  • Starter Boost Package

Refund Details:
You’ll be refunded the caliber used for those purchases minus the discount that should have been applied. It’s like finding money in your winter coat pocket after months, it feels pretty good!

Refund Schedule:
Mark your calendars! Refunds will start rolling out via in-game mail from Wednesday, January 8, 2025 (PST). Just remember to claim it before that mail goes poof into cyberspace!

The team is committed to ensuring our gaming experience remains as smooth as possible. So if you’ve felt a bit jilted by this pricing mix-up, don’t worry—your Caliber is coming back home!

If you’re curious about all the details from the source, check out their official announcement here.
