After its launch three years ago, Red Dead Redemption 2 has broken new ground – smashing through the previous record of concurrent PC players with a whopping 66,492! As reported by a third-party tracking site, SteamDB, the data from November 24th surge in numbers was stimulated by Steam’s Autumn sale.
Impressive figures have been recorded since then – proving Take-Two Interactive’s success after announcing that over 45 million copies of the game had already sold worldwide before reaching such an impressive peak for its online presence.
It’s quite amazing to see that three years after its launch, Red Dead Redemption 2 reached an all-time high on PC with over 66k concurrent players. Already having sold 45 million copies since it first came out, this highly popular title from publisher Take-Two Interactive continues to be one of the hottest games around.
Despite its critical acclaim, Red Dead Redemption 2’s online multiplayer component was put on the back-burner when developer Rockstar Games directed resources to focus solely on Grand Theft Auto 6.
