If everything goes according to plans, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart release date is set for June 11, 2021. This has been revealed in a post on the official PlayStation blog. Marcus Smith, Insomniac Games’ creative director, has stated the following:
If you’ve never played a Ratchet & Clank game before, this is an excellent one to start with as the adventure is a stand-alone storyline, but longtime fans of the series will find deeper layers of connection to previous games.
Furthermore, Marcus Smith has teased something about the new Lombax girl, for which everyone is excited to hear its origins. While her identity remains secretive, today, we might have heard something about her.
And yes, we know you are asking for the new Lombax’s name. And it’s not fair that we put her in the art-work and aren’t telling you yet. Hang in there, you’ll be feeling rosy soon.
We’ll see you in the omniverse on June 11th, 2021.
