Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will undoubtedly be a PS5 exclusive. Earlier today, the developer Insomniac Games has responded to a user asking if Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart would be a PS5 exclusive with “it’s a PS5 exclusive”. This means that Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will be unavailable on the PS4, and users will have to upgrade their console to PS5 to play it.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a sequel to the 2014 reboot. Hence a continuation and smooth changes are expected to kick in. The game featured a thorough presentation during Gamescom 2020, with many mechanics and features, including a look at the Dimensionator device. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will also have a new playable female character from another dimension, Lombax.
All of the new features showcased during Gamescom 2020 were praised by the DualSense controller’s capabilities and how its haptic feedback would strengthen the gameplay experience for everyone.
