Those events are most likely to be a part of each consecutive update, giving the players new content to enjoy playing. The updates have been noted to release throughout each month, whose job is to bring those new events.
According to the Roadmap, there are going to be new live events, but also free and paid expansions. Two of them will be assigned to a paycheck. The first one is Rise of the Ghosts and the second is untitled. Rise of the Ghosts is scheduled to introduce new weapons, new enemy faction and other map areas eligible to exploring.
