RAGE 2 will avoid Loot Boxes and focus on longer gameplay content

Bethesda has announced that no loot boxes will be included in RAGE 2, which shall further discover the beauty of the game. After receiving the official gameplay trailer, we now know that the game is still in development and Avalanche Studios has joined the team in making RAGE 2.

Where did all of this come from? Well, idSoftware’s creative director Tim Willits has spoken to Gamestar regarding this question. He has confirmed that RAGE 2 shall be independent of loot boxes and will focus on bringing more content, which in turn will be beneficial for most of the players in the long term.

RAGE 2 will undoubtedly aim to provide a considerable experience, and after discovering it will include a vast open-world, it’s entirely reasonable for the developers to seek for a somewhat longer gameplay content. Now back to the microtransactions, as they’re found as the most intriguing subject to argue for. You cannot limit fancy stuff in a video game, or avoid including it. Most of the gamers enjoy new cosmetics, which job is to change a little portion of the game’s look. Thus, make it more exciting and fresh in player’s eyes.

In the interview, Tim Willits claimed that Avalanche has the bigger team, which indulges the reason it’s the team possessing the open-world mastery, while idSoftware focuses mainly on the Shooter segment and mechanics. We went past that in our previous article as well. Anyhow, RAGE needed a sequel and cheers to that we are now getting closer to receiving it.
