Maquette is a first-person recursive puzzle game that takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge. When you’re at the center of the world, you’ll be huge, and everything will look small to you. However, when you stray from the center, you start to get smaller, and things look bigger to the point which small cracks look like chasms.
Developed by Graceful Decay and Annapurna Interactive, Maquette aims to explain the scales of everyday problems in a modern-day love story. Small issues can look like big obstacles.
Today, Annapurna released a new trailer in which the game’s release date is announced at the end. Maquette will release on March 2nd for PC, PS4, and PS5. Maquette will cost $19.99 on launch.
The game also has the big name of Annapurna Interactive behind it, who are the publishers for the Outer Wilds, What Remains of Edith Finch, I Am Dead, and most recently, The Pathless.
