Since the moment Fortnite made an entrance, we knew that we have another decent BR product, but it all seemed like it belongs to a skillless and childish bracket of gameplay. Then, the streamer love began.

Streamers from all around the world (especially the famous streamers) were merely denying PUBG because of the developer’s struggle, for which may have shaken the whole community. Therefore, as a much more stable game in its current phase, they have chosen to enjoy Fortnite and the craziness behind, instead of grappling in PUBG and Bluehole’s mistakes.

It all began with a professional member of PUBG’s team Luminosity, Ninja, who has started playing Fortnite since the very beginning and found the game quite enjoyable. It is another fact why the streamers have such a fantastic impact on video game communities, and we’re yet to discover what additionally happened.

During that moment, PUBG was adding new maps, weapons, but the core issues remained. They are still number one priority on Bluehole’s list, but they’re just not developing it for quite some time now. It is one of those issues where cannot monetize from the game, because unless you fix them, you’ll find difficulties in adding further cosmetic items, skins, etc.

So, back to the streamers. Ninja has become faithful if not the most dedicated Fortnite streamer, for which people started loving his output and the game as a whole. Now, after he has managed to get 50,000 sub count and broke the Twitch record, things began to change drastically. Out of a sudden, every streamer wants to stream Fortnite, and there’s no doubt.

Recently, Shroud has been committing to Fortnite, DrDisrespect as well, and probably hundreds more. Also, they had found that the game requires extreme skills, unlike before when it was just another childish game. Again, out of a sudden, everyone is a professional Fortnite player, but I am not here to judge, so let’s move forward.

After Fortnite’s number of concurrent players started growing, it all came down to common sense. PUBG merely is not ready because it’s more mature and realistic shooter, and need to deal with all those critical issues the game’s having. On the other side, Fortnite is a stable and well-polished product, and ready to receive even a more significant amount of traffic, until it finds and meets its limit.

PUBG vs. Fortnite – Current Phase

We can only speak about their current phase for which is more reasonable players to choose Fortnite over PUBG, because of its stability. Fortnite merely is more stable. While PUBG and Bluehole are still dealing the same issues, they’re still present in the game. It’s about time for Bluehole to rub the scratches and light the matches because Fortnite and Epic Games are taking a big swing over the whole world.

So where is this going? God knows, we’ll see what’s going to happen, especially now after all twitch streamers have committed to Fortnite! Fun times are upon us, and we’re striving to escort them all the way! PUBG won the Quick Run, Fortnite took the Mid Run, to whom belongs the long run?
